CompanyOur Team

Meet the people behind H3

Jonathan Harding

Director

Jon has spent more than 20 years working in structural waterproofing, concrete repair and refurbishment across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. His experience is built on site work first — understanding how systems behave once they’re installed, not just how they’re described on paper.

At H3 Construct, Jon leads on technical oversight and pricing. He reviews drawings, selects appropriate systems, develops cost plans and defines methodologies with a clear focus on buildability, compliance and long-term performance. Solutions are shaped around the structure and the environment it sits in, not generic specifications.

Before co-founding H3 Construct, Jon held senior roles with manufacturers and contractors including Stirling Lloyd, USL and BASF. That background shaped his approach: know the systems properly, be honest about what will work, and avoid compromises that lead to failure later.

Jon is direct and practical, with a reputation for finding workable solutions to complex problems. From tender stage through to completion, his focus stays the same — deliver the right system, at the right cost, and make sure it performs in the real world.

Chris Hird

Director

Chris has spent over 15 years working in construction, specialising in concrete repairs, protective coatings and waterproofing systems. His experience is rooted in delivering technically complex work in live environments — multi-storey car parks, commercial buildings and operational assets where safety, sequencing and programme control are non-negotiable.

He is NVQ Level 7 qualified in Construction Senior Management and holds a CSCS Black Card. More importantly, he understands how projects behave once they’re live. Managing risk, coordinating teams and maintaining control on busy sites is part of the day-to-day.

At H³ Construct, Chris is involved from the start of a project through to completion. He leads initial inspections, develops tenders, oversees delivery on site and remains the main point of contact through handover. His approach is hands-on and practical, focused on detail, responsiveness and finding workable solutions.

Quality, compliance and long-term performance drive every decision. The aim is simple: deliver work that meets the technical brief, satisfies the client and performs reliably long after the site is closed down.

Sharon Hall

Company Secretary

Sharon is responsible for the systems that keep H³ Construct operating smoothly. Governance, compliance and internal processes all sit under her oversight, ensuring the business runs with control and consistency.

She manages document control, contract administration and company records, supporting the senior management team across day-to-day operational and commercial activity. Accuracy matters here. So does timing. The details are handled properly so nothing slips.

Sharon is a key point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring communication is clear and documentation is managed correctly. Her role provides structure behind every project, from initial appointment through to completion.

Her work is often unseen, but it’s essential. By keeping the business compliant, organised and coordinated, Sharon allows the wider team to focus on delivering work on site with confidence and professionalism.

Phil Fitzgerald

Site Manager

Phil has over 15 years of hands-on experience in construction, groundworks and structural waterproofing across the UK and Europe. He specialises in running live sites — places where work has to happen safely and efficiently while the environment stays operational.

Since joining H³ Construct in 2021, Phil has delivered complex concrete repair and coating projects for clients including Q-Park and NCP. Much of his work takes place in operational car parks and other sensitive environments where timing, access and disruption have to be tightly controlled.

He manages materials, labour and logistics with a clear focus on organisation and quality. Sites are kept clean, compliant and well sequenced, so work progresses predictably and safely. Attention to detail on site translates directly into fewer issues and better outcomes for clients.

Phil is SMSTS-trained and CSCS-qualified, but his value comes from experience. He maintains a strong site presence from set-up through to handover, keeping health and safety front and centre while driving delivery.

Reliable and straightforward to work with, Phil plays a key role in making complex projects run smoothly — both for the client and the teams on site.

CompanyOur Policies

Our approach to business

At H3 Construct, we focus on solving structural problems properly. Not with generic fixes, and not in isolation.

Between us, we bring over 50 years of hands-on experience across structural waterproofing, resin flooring and concrete repair. That experience comes from site, from failure, and from understanding how systems behave once they’re in use.

We work closely with manufacturers, engineers and technical specialists to develop solutions that fit the structure, the environment and the budget. The aim is always the same: deliver work that performs and lasts.

Clients across commercial, industrial, retail, domestic and local authority sectors trust us because we’re clear about what will work, honest about what won’t, and consistent in how we deliver.
