Resin flooring is only as effective as the system selected for the environment in which it has to perform.
At H3 Construct, we install specialist resin flooring and protective coating systems for industrial, commercial and high-traffic environments across the UK.
Our systems include epoxy, polyurethane, MMA and heavy-duty polyurethane cement flooring, providing solutions for everything from warehouses, plant rooms and car parks through to food production, manufacturing, laboratories, commercial kitchens and public environments.
The correct system is determined by how the floor will actually be used. Traffic levels, impact, abrasion, chemical exposure, temperature, moisture, cleaning regimes, hygiene requirements and required slip resistance all influence the specification.
Preparation and detailing are equally important. Existing substrates are assessed before installation, with consideration given to their condition, contamination, moisture, previous coatings, joints, drainage, thresholds and other interfaces that could affect long-term performance.
We work with established systems from recognised manufacturers, including specialist Sika solutions, selecting materials around the operational requirements of each project rather than applying a one-system-fits-all approach.
Where facilities need to remain operational, works can be phased around production, trading or access requirements. Rapid-curing systems can also be considered where reducing downtime and achieving a fast return to service are critical.
The result is a flooring system designed around the environment, the substrate and the demands it will face in service.
