The condition of a structure isn’t always obvious. Damage often starts beneath the surface, long before it becomes visible.
At H3 Construct, we carry out detailed site-specific surveys to assess the condition and performance of concrete structures, waterproofing systems and protective coatings within real operating environments. The purpose is to identify deterioration early, understand the likely cause and assess the level of risk presented to the asset over time.
Surveys may be undertaken to support planned refurbishment works, investigate issues such as water ingress or cracking, or assist with maintenance planning and budget forecasting. In each case, the objective is to provide clear technical information that supports practical and informed decision-making.
Our experience within operational and occupied environments allows surveys to be carried out safely while sites remain in use. This includes multi-storey car parks, podium decks, commercial buildings, basements and industrial facilities where access, safety and operational continuity must all be managed carefully during inspection works.
Particular attention is given to the early indicators of deterioration, including cracking, corrosion staining, coating breakdown, water ingress and localised concrete defects that can easily be overlooked during general inspections. Survey findings are documented clearly so the condition of the asset, the associated risks and the recommended next steps can be understood properly.
The result is not simply a condition report, but a clearer understanding of how the structure is performing and what is required to manage it effectively over the long term.
